Security Policy
Summary
Our checkout page is encrypted with a valid SSL (Secured Socket Layer)
certificate. This certificate encrypts information as it travels
from your computer to our web site and vice versa. It is for this
reason that you may feel safe placing orders here at our web site.
When you are entering confidential information such as credit card
information, look for a small lock or key at the bottom of your browser
window. This means that you are communicating in a highly
confidential manner with our company. It is also for this reason that we
do not take credit cards via standard email. Emails containing
credit card information will be immediately deleted from our system, and we will not
be held liable for that happens to that information, whether after the
fact, or intercepted by hackers sniffing for emails for 16 digit numbers
or expiration dates. Your use of this web site, or communication with
us via email gives irrevocable consent in your understanding that we
cannot be held liable for confidential information when transmitted via
standard email. AVS Fraud Protection
Professional web sites, such as this one, utilize a fraud protection tool
known as AVS, or Address Verification Systems. This means that the
only way your credit card can be charged is if the street address and zip
code match what is on file with the issuing bank.
You will also be asked
for the 3 or 4 digit on the back of your credit card. This is not a
PIN number or password. This is a number that verifies the actual
card number. We require this for purchasing at our web site.
It is
our goal to keep your confidential information as encrypted and secure as
possible. We reserve the right to change this policy at any time.
