Receiving - Account for
incoming merchandise and receive it to a specific purchase order
number. You may grade the inventory's condition as it comes in
and record that on the barcodes. When you make mistakes simply
use the receiving edit function.
Query Location
- You may scan a location and see all of the merchandise assigned to
that physical location. Any discrepancies can be noted and
corrected by your inventory control clerks.
Damages
- Your inventory control team can adjust inventory downward and record
that the qty was damaged. This is helpful for accounting for
in-stock damages which occur in the warehousing business. We can
run custom reports for you to show the number of damages over any given
period of time. A high number could mean that your employees are
being careless and damaging product.
Returns
- This function allows you to manage your returns and track them by
order number. It could be helpful to know which of your customers
constantly return merchandise and in the condition in which it is
received.
Wireless Order Placement
- This is a very nice function which allows your sales reps to place
orders from anywhere in the world. From the time they
initiate the order, you may monitor from the order manager to see the
size of the order as they build the order. When it is ready to be
pulled, you can flag it and the warehouse can begin to pull the
merchandise for that customer.
Web Order Pull - This
function allows you to pull Internet orders for Half.com and Amazon if
you sell on those web sites. It's a nifty function that tracks
everything from order fulfillment ratios to your best sellers and price
points. We will even send your customers a customized email with
their tracking information and other bits about their order.
Line Item Order Pull -
This function allows you to pull orders which contain specific qty and
items. Accuracy of item number and qty pulled are double checked
against what the sales rep entered into the system. Items scanned
by the order selector which are not on the order cannot be added to the
order.
Assortment Pull - If you
sell by assortments, this function let's you pull books for a specific
assortment number. In fact, in slow times of sales, you can
pre-pull assortments and stock them just like a regular product.
When you have a customer which places and order for an assortment,
simply add the pre-pulled assortment to an order and ship the order to
the customer.
Walk and Pull -
Sometimes your customers will come to your warehouse to place an order
and will want to walk through the show room or warehouse looking at the
product. You may use this function to build an order as you walk
around and you can over-ride product prices to allow for point of
purchase discounts. This feature can be used at trade shows to
avoid having to hand write and then key in your orders.
Move Qty - This function
is typically used by stockers. Sometimes when they are stocking
product and get to a specific location, the product simply won't fit in
that space. They can use this function to move a quantity from
one inventory tag to another. The items' purchase order number,
condition and other pieces of information are automatically transferred
to a new inventory tag as specified by the employee. They can
then physically separate the product and stock in the appropriate
locations.
Reassign IT # - In a
warehouse environment, sometimes your inventory tags will get lost.
Using a combination of functions you can find out the number for the
missing tag and then reassign that product to a new tag. The
inventory clerk can then simply place the new tag on the merchandise.
Amazon Query - If
you sell product on Amazon, you may use this function to see current
sale price and other information on Amazon.com. This is a
stripped down version of our
Pocket Watch
Program.
Delete IT # - Sometimes
you just need to delete a tag and start over. This allows you to
do just that while recording that the inventory tag has been deleted.
You may immediately reuse deleted tags.
Adjust IT # - This
feature is often used when inventory clerks are cycle counting
(mini-inventory). They may scan an inventory tag and adjust the
qty to help keep the inventory as accurate as possible.
Inventory IT # - This
function is used during a full inventory or if you need to
miscellaneously (without a purchase order) add product to your
inventory.
Edit IT # - Sometimes
mistakes are made and need to be corrected. This screen lets you
correct everything from count to item number to location on any given
inventory tag.
Move IT # - This
function is used to move an inventory tag from one location to another.
Find IT # - finding
inventory in your warehouse has never been easier. Simply enter
an item number and all available locations as well as a total on-hand
will be displayed on the screen. In fact, this is accurate in
real time, even if someone has just moved an inventory tag for the item
in question.
Combine IT # - Keeping a
warehouse accurate and closely organized as possible can be important
for many companies. This function works in conjunction with the
receiving program to allow you to find existing locations for the
product on the current inventory tag. If you are not worried
about keeping your purchase orders separate (so that you can know sales
by PO and on-hand by PO etc), this function will allow you to combine
all or part of the inventory on the incoming freight to existing
inventory for the same product and condition.
Query IT # - Need to
know all about a barcode, Query IT! This program shows item
number, quantity, creation date, current location and the last person
to touch it and what they were doing and much more.
Single Item Inventory (No IT
# required) - There's no sense wasting barcodes on singles or even
small quantities. You may use the SII program to inventory the
items. You lose the trackable functions of the barcodes but it's
very handy if you are inventorying singles for Internet sales. We
can still track basic information like date inventoried, location, and
person who scanned the merchandise into the system.
Warehouse Map Generator
- We give our clients total control as to how they want to pick their
merchandise. This program tells Skuflow the order in which you
want to generate pick tickets as well as indicating whether the
location is a pick slot or overstock bin.
Location Edit - This is
a very fast program for doing cycle counting. Scan the location
and you can adjust the quantity on any barcode within that location
then simply hit an update button.
Zero a Location - This
function is just the opposite of the location edit. This function
allows you to set all barcodes in a location to zero and then you can
inventory them and do blind counts. You can then use the location
query function to see if there are any barcodes with 0 qty which need
to be deleted from the system.
